Does PIVY have a token?
No token for now. We want to build something real first, not “exit liquidity” kind of project.
Why is my balance zero even if I have some PDT?
That’s expected! PDT (PIVY Demo Token) isn’t has no value. Like the name says, it’s just for trying out how PIVY works, basically your first PIVY experience. You can send it to another PIVY user or any wallet address, no gas fees needed. Think of it as play money for a taste of PIVY.
Can I use PIVY if I don't have a crypto wallet yet?
Technically yes! And that’s part of the magic. You can claim your PIVY username using your email or social login through Privy, which automatically creates a self-custodial wallet for you behind the scenes. You stay in full control, without needing to worry about seed phrases or private keys (we know they can be scary at first ).
Does PIVY have access to my private keys?
Nope, PIVY never has access to your private keys, wallet, or seed phrase. Each stealth address is generated cryptographically using your PIN and public key, which means PIVY cannot view or store your keys.

Is PIVY self-custodial?
Yes! All payments go to your self-custodial stealth account, which means only you have full control over your funds. PIVY never touches, manages, or stores your assets nor private keys, it simply helps you receive them privately and securely.
Is PIVY a crypto wallet?
Not exactly, but it works a bit like one. A crypto wallet is an app or platform that lets you access and manage your crypto accounts on the blockchain. Unlike typical crypto wallets that connect to dApps (which can expose you to phishing or wallet-draining risks), PIVY focus is for you to get paid and stay private.
Can I change my PIN?
Short answer is nope. Your PIN is part of how your stealth addresses are securely generated. Changing it would break the link to your existing stealth addresses.
You accidentally leaked your PIN? Don’t worry, knowing your PIN alone isn’t enough to touch your funds without your connected wallet.
Treat your PIN like your seed phrase and private key, secure and never ever shared to anyone.
What happens if I forget my PIN?
If you forget it, which we hope will never ever happen, the team can provide you a tool to recover it, but cannot reset or change your PIN.

How does PIVY protect my privacy?
Every payment goes to a fresh, one-time stealth address that no one can trace back to you. Even if someone knows one of your payment links, they won’t see your wallet or how much you’ve got stashed away.
Can I withdraw funds to my main wallet?
Of course, you can withdraw anytime to any address, including your main wallet. However, withdrawing instantly may reduce privacy since the payer could notice the linked transaction. Waiting a few days makes it much more unoticeable.

What if a CCTP transaction gets stuck?
In very rare cases, such as internet loss right after signing on the payer side, a CCTP transfer may get stuck. Don't worry, your funds remain safe and will be processed. PIVY’s system has a scheduler that auto checks for pending CCTP transfers every 30 seconds.
That said, the bridging process itself may take up to 30 minutes. You can check the status of any pending CCTP transfer directly from your PIVY dashboard.
If after 30 minutes you still don’t see the incoming payment, even though the payer confirmed it was sent, please contact the PIVY team via Telegram for help reviewing your transaction.
Do I need to have gas coins in my PIVY account?
Nope! The good news is, PIVY sponsors gas for supported assets: native coins, USDC, and USDT.
If sponsorship limits are ever reached (which currently is unlimited) or you’re withdrawing an unsupported asset, your transaction will use your dedicated PIVY gas account. This ensures every payment goes smoothly and if you happen to connect with your main wallet, it won’t leak your identity.

What if PIVY shuts down? Will I lose my funds?
Not at all! This is the great thing about PIVY's self-custody design.
Even if the PIVY platform were to go down (and we certainly hope that never happens), your funds are safe on the blockchain because you hold the keys, not us.
PIVY doesn't own, hold, or store your assets. This means you will always have access to your funds no matter what happens to PIVY.
PIVY is just the platform with cute interface to make crypto payments easy and fun for you! Your assets are all tracked securely on-chain. Therefore, you are completely not dependent on PIVY.
We are decentralized and trustless, powered by cryptographic math. To prove it, if you ever need to, we can provide publicly accessible script that you can run by yourself offline to access and move your funds, using just your private keys.
